Allow users to import and export record lists in CSV, Excel, TXT etc format.

After submitting a new record the artists' name is all lowercase. Also editing it again changes it back to lowercase upon submitting again. Please revert this back to normal, as in, store it the way it was submitted.

For example, you would be able to search the site for releases by a particular artist and check "I have this in my collection." or something to that effect. The database entries themselves could be a user-edited wiki or partially based on information from CDDB or allmusic.

If the preferred way of casing an artist's name is not in the dropdown list, it will use the 1st one from the dropdown list rather than the entered, preferred, way. For instance, there's a band called The Recluse. It only shows up as the recluse in the dropdown, and I cannot have it show up as The Recluse in my page, it reverts to the recluse every time.

It would convenient to be able to add your own categories for items that don't fit into any of the established ones or at least more than one "other" category with ability to add a note of description on the category title line.

I like to see the album art. It brings a whole new look to a page.

I´d prefer a review of the item I´ve added. Like it has been before the change.

After adding an item. I am taken to my list page rather than back to the 'add an item' page. This is awkward when trying to enter multiple records in one go.

Have a counter showing how many times your list has been viewed.

I have still been looking for the same records in my wanted list ever since I have signed up on this website. Granted what I am searching for is really rare. However, maybe have a main page that shows what people are looking for, similar to Ebay's Want it Now site perhaps? The only problem I forsee (and this is what plagues Ebay's Want It now site) is that there are too many people saying that they are looking for records that are already widely available) So maybe limit it to what is truely hard to find (if that's possible?)

I, and probably other users, have a lot of Japanese, Chinese and other Asian cd's. It would be nice if we were able to add those cd's in their original language.

Every time I use the import CSV option it processes the list but when it tries to import the list it freezes up and won't continue. When I check my list later, only 15 CDs were imported but no information was shown at all. Can you please fix this bug? I have been looking for a site like this for a long time and hope this can get fixed because adding 1 CD at a time will take an eternity (over 1500 cds).

"The Beatles" with 4 nonfiling characters would file under B. You're telling the computer to skip the first 4 characters (T, h, e, and space) before starting its usual alphabetizing. That way it will display "The Beatles" but still file correctly.

Add 'friends' to a profile as a quick way of keeping up to date with users with similar tastes or that are regularly traded with.

by linking your list to your last fm profile you should be able to see a users most popular albums by scrobbals
